How to control product quality
The product is basically positioned in the design stage, and then the quality is guaranteed by procurement, processing and manufacturing, packaging, and transportation. These links are controlled, and the quality is naturally controlled. Therefore, product quality is achieved during the design and production process, and quality is achieved through process management.
Enterprises can control product quality in the following ways:
①Establish quality awareness.
Let employees realize that: if the product quality is not good, the product has no market, and the product has no market, the company will lose its source of profit. Over time, the company will go bankrupt, followed by unemployment. Of course, even if the product market is good, we must "live and work in peace and contentment", improve product quality, and create better corporate reputation.
②Customer-centric.
Everything is customer-centered, and we regard ourselves as customers, the operators of the next process, and the consumers of products. In this way, you will consciously do a good job at work. If everyone does a good job, the quality of the product will be guaranteed. If you cut materials at work, your own interests will be harmed.
③Establish quality prevention awareness.
If quality control does not start from the source, it will be difficult to control the quality of the product. Even if a large amount of inspection manpower is invested in production control, a large number of secondary products or even scrap products will be produced due to lack of control from the source, which will greatly increase the cost of the product. Moreover, the quality problems of some products may not be discovered and remedied in subsequent processes, which requires us to do a good job to prevent quality problems.
④ Establish awareness of quality procedures.
Quality management is the whole process and the whole company, and the work between each process and the company's departments must be orderly and effective. All quality management personnel and operators are required to strictly follow the procedures. If they do not follow the procedures, they will make mistakes. The chances will increase and the quality of the product cannot be guaranteed.
⑤Establish a sense of quality responsibility.
80% of quality problems are caused by management, while only 20% of problems are caused by employees. That is, managers can control about 80% of defects, and operators can generally control less than 20% of defects. While managers improve their management level, they also need to let operators understand the following four points:
Operators know how and why they do what they do;
2. Operators know whether the products they produce meet specifications;
3. Operators know the consequences of producing products that do not meet specifications;
4. Operators have the ability to correctly handle abnormal situations.
