Detailed explanation of the production process of aluminum profiles for doors and windows
1. Prepare raw materials
The production of aluminum profiles for doors and windows requires the use of high-quality aluminum alloy materials, commonly used ones include 6063, 6061, 6005 and other series. Before production, different types of aluminum alloys need to be tested for material composition and performance indicators to ensure that the quality of the materials meets standards. After the raw materials are prepared, the ingots need to be processed, and through ingot preheating, shearing and other processes, they can be made to meet the requirements of extruder production.
2. Profile extrusion
After raw material preparation, the extrusion production step is entered. In this process, the aluminum material is pressed into the mold, and under the high pressure of the extruder, the aluminum material is compressed into various shapes, such as circles, squares, etc., and finally forms aluminum profiles for doors and windows.
3. Aluminum surface treatment
After the aluminum profiles for doors and windows are extruded, their surfaces need to be treated to ensure the surface quality of the aluminum profiles. Treatment methods include pickling, alkali washing, chemical chromium plating and anodizing.
4. Profile cutting
Profile cutting is usually done in the manufacturer's or dealer's processing shop. In this step, the aluminum is cut into various lengths to facilitate further processing and installation.
5. Drilling processing
Drilling is a very important part of the processing of aluminum profiles for doors and windows. In this step, holes are drilled into the aluminum door and window profiles to facilitate the installation of door and window hardware.
6. Profile surface treatment
After cutting and drilling are completed, the surface of the aluminum door and window profiles needs to be further processed, including deburring, grinding and polishing, to ensure that the surface of the aluminum door and window profiles is smooth, strong and beautiful.
7. Spraying
Spraying is performed to protect the surface of aluminum profiles and increase aesthetics and durability. In the spraying process, the aluminum profiles need to be degreased and cleaned, and then electrophoretic coating, electrostatic spraying and other processes are carried out.
In short, the process flow for the production of aluminum profiles for doors and windows is very complex, and every link needs to be strictly controlled to ensure the production of high-quality aluminum profiles. Only in this way can aluminum door and window profiles play a better role in actual use.
